Hybrid Training workout split

Strength training and running in one week: three lifting days, three conditioning days.

  • Training days6 per week
  • LevelIntermediate
  • Best forBeing strong and fit at the same time
  • Cycle length7 days

Hybrid training combines lifting and endurance work so you build muscle without losing your engine. Heavy lifting and hard intervals are kept on separate days, and most running stays easy.

This is the split to pick if you want to look like a lifter and still run a fast 10K.

What happens if you miss a day?

In the Repshift tracker, a missed session moves to the next day and the rest of the 7-day cycle follows. Nothing is lost; your week simply extends by a day.
